Feedback on LifeSupport

LifeSupport magazine has been available in newsagents for almost a month now. We've been very pleased to hear from everyday readers that the magazine is doing what it's supposed to do: calm the chaos and ease the confusion for people living with cancer and all those who support them.

Here's an example of the feedback we've received.

Hi, I want to congratulate you on your recent publication of the LifeSupport Magazine. I was diagnosed with GBM in Feb 2009, so Chris O'Brien's story has had a huge impact on me. I've had two craniotomys Mar 09 & Nov 09 and await my next MRI in August. I had to stumble through finding out a lot of the information which is now so eloquently compiled in this publication. I'm sure it will be of huge benefit to newly diagnosed cancer patients and many others.

Best Wishes
Lyn

We encourage you to get in touch with us, not just to share kind words but to offer practical suggestions on how we can develop the magazine and the website in the future. Please leave your comments right here!

To all of you who contributed to the publication of Life Support Magazine. Thank you for a great publication. I am currently caring for my dear husband who was diagnosed Nov 2009 with an Astrocytoma Grade 2 (diffused). The only treatment available for him at the time was a clinical trial being run testing a chemotherapy tablet running for over one year. We had no other option but to go on the trial and thankfully the large glioma has slightly shrunk and has been stable since Jan 2011. Despite the tumours shrinkage the mild seizures persist as do the head aches and dizziness just to name a few. We have been told the tumour will start to grow again and then we will be looking at radiation. It is a long hard journey, we have both been counselled and advised to take one day at a time. The hardest to deal with is the uncertainty of our future, and all the what if's and buts. I have had many jobs in my life but this one is by far the hardest.
What I want to say is, I bought your magazine a few months ago and have not stopped reading it since. It is full of all the useful information one needs as one goes along this path. Everyone's story in the magazine is different but the emotional roller a coaster ride is the same. I look forward to your next issue and may there be many more there after. Good luck and best wishes Karen von A
